Overview

Components are the simplest re-usable custom elements of the design system.

  • Breadcrumbs Legacy

Breadcrumbs are a series of links which show the user which page they are viewing within a course.

  • Buttons Beta

A button is used to perform an action when the user clicks or touches it.

  • Course Content Pagination Legacy

Links to the previous, next and parent elements for each page of course content.

  • Course Navigation Legacy

This menu is always visible to desktop users, and provides links to the main parts of the course. Teachers can also add custom links to the menu.

  • Error summary Beta

An error summary is used to present validation errors of a form.

  • Main Navigation Legacy

The navigation area that is visible on every page.

  • Page Title Legacy

This should be the highest-level heading of the page.

  • Points Badge Legacy

The progress indicates how many points a student currently has on one particular question, exercise or chapter.

  • Points Progress Bar Legacy

The progress bar visualises how many points a student currently has as a proportion of the total available.
